Brilliant Hydrophilic Vein Introducer Sheath Kit

Until now, hydrophilic-coated introducer sheath kits came at a premium price. With the Brilliant™ Introducer Sheath Kit, you get smoother insertion, greater pushability and lower resistance through leg tissue—without the added cost.

It’s time to rethink non-coated introducer sheaths for vein procedures.

The Brilliant™ Hydrophilic-Coated Introducer Sheath provides greater pushability and lower insertion resistance through leg tissue, helping physicians achieve smoother, more controlled access during varicose vein procedures compared with standard non-coated sheaths.

**Brilliant™ Hydrophilic Introducer Sheath — Coating Activation **

Before using the Brilliant Hydrophilic Introducer Sheath, properly activate its hydrophilic coating to support smooth advancement and reduced insertion resistance.

Using sterile technique, remove the Brilliant Sheath and dilator from the packaging and inspect all components for damage.

Flush the sheath, dilator and side port with sterile heparinized saline.

Next, thoroughly wet the entire hydrophilic-coated portion of the sheath with sterile saline. Make sure the complete coated surface is hydrated. If needed, use sterile saline-soaked gauze to gently wet the sheath—do not aggressively rub or wipe the coating.

Allow the coating to hydrate. Once activated, the sheath’s exterior should feel noticeably slick.

Keep the Brilliant Sheath wet until insertion. If the surface begins to dry, re-wet it with sterile saline before advancing it through the tissue.

The activated hydrophilic coating helps the Brilliant Sheath glide through tissue with lower resistance, providing the pushability and smooth insertion physicians need—especially during venous ablation and varicose-vein procedures.

Brilliant™ Hydrophilic Introducer Sheath—smooth access starts with proper activation.
